Copper Credibility

Update your office to earn some serious style-cred and stir up some major office-envy with Tom Dixon’s range of cool copper desk décor.

How cute are these? Tom Dixon has really excelled himself with these metallic must-haves, proving British design is still relevant in the world of interior design. Since being established in 2002 the product design brand has had ‘a commitment to innovation and a mission to revive the British furniture industry’ and has been inspired by ‘the nation’s unique heritage’ and has produced ‘extraordinary objects for everyday use’.

I, myself, love Tom Dixon furniture. From the icy white marble side tables to the slim-legged block colour dining chairs, I love it all. Tom Dixon is very much an aspirational brand for most, myself included, due to the somewhat pricey price tag. Although, as most designers do, they have a range of smaller products and accessories which are a little more pocket-friendly.

Copper seems to be everywhere. Every interior magazine displays a hint of the warm coloured metal, be that through kitchen utensils, shimmering wall coverings or even just simple items such as plant pots such as this candle from Oliver Bonas (which smells amazing by the way); it’s there somewhere. Not to mention copper is becoming increasingly popular in the makeup scene, with many celebs incorporating coppery browns and oranges into their eye makeup.

These copper office pieces are the perfect alternative to spending a little less cash and gaining a little more style-cred by bagging yourself a piece of the brand. With prices starting at £55 for the desktop beauties above, what’s your excuse? Treat yourself. You deserve it.
