Luxurious Winter Warmers

Days are getting shorter, nights are getting longer, and all in all it’s just getting that bit chillier. With Christmas just around the corner, we’re all looking to update our A/W wardrobes with chunky knits in deep reds, burnt oranges and emerald greens, as well as adding a few daring prints here and there.

Woolly jumpers are no longer the bobbled, misshapen and unflattering garments your granny used to knit you ever year. Oh no, high-end designers such as Mira Mikati, Mary Katrantzou and Stella McCartney have given the old-time favourite a much needed update using fun designs and extensive colour palettes.

I myself, love knitwear. Jumpers, scarves, cardigans or bobble hats; anything cosy, comfy and easy to wear; I’m all ears! I love the versatility of jumpers and scarves especially, the way they make each winter morning a little less chilly and they can hide a multitude of sins. My favourite knitwear, and possibly my favourite clothing purchase of this season is the Basky Roll Neck Jumper from JDY which I bought two out of the three colours available; black and dark olive. At only £14 each, these were a total steal and are made of lovely soft comfortable fabric which makes them super cosy and super easy to wear.
